Who we are
Score.lk ("we") is a free practice app for Sri Lankan G.C.E. Advanced Level students. It lets you answer past-paper multiple-choice questions and see your results. This policy covers the Score.lk mobile app for Android and iOS and the score.lk website.
What stays on your device
Everything you do in the app is stored only in a local database on your phone:
- your A/L exam year and chosen subjects;
- the papers you start, your answers, flagged questions and timings;
- your scores and history.
We never receive your individual answers or question-by-question history. Uninstalling the app, or choosing Log out in the app, permanently deletes it from your device.
What we receive

Question reports are not linked to your name or any account. Please don’t include personal information in the optional note.
Service providers
We use Google Firebase (Hosting and Cloud Firestore) to serve question content and to store question reports, and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used. In the app, advertising-ID collection and ad personalisation are turned off, and analytics data is not linked to your name or any account. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Firebase privacy and security terms. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits, with Google signals and ad personalisation turned off. Google Analytics sets cookies on score.lk; you can block them in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
What we don’t do
- No accounts, sign-in, or passwords.
- No advertising or ad networks, and no advertising ID collection.
- No selling or sharing of personal data.
- No access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
Children
Score.lk is designed for A/L students, many of whom are under 18. Because the app does not ask for or collect personal information, it can be used without creating an account or providing any details.
Retention
Question reports are kept only as long as needed to review and fix the reported question.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app.
